Chillers Ice Cream is located in Sellersburg Indiana at 7601 County Rd 311, Sellersburg, IN 47172 and is a local favorite for anyone around Sellersburg looking to get their ice cream fix.
The current Chillers location has been known for ice cream for a couple of decades and is still going strong. If I remember right, the previous ice cream restaurant in that location before Chillers was called Tradewinds, but that has been several years ago now.
If you are in the area during the winter you may miss out, they do close down for the season. But, lately their time that they are closed is shorter and shorter because they are definitely selling ice cream in the winter. It is probably closed late December – Mid February now but that isn’t official.
Here is a picture of my son on the last night of Chillers before the winter shut down a few years ago. Time flies, for sure!
Be sure to check them out whenever you are in town, you won’t regret it.
My favorite is the Butterfinger Vortex… similar to the DQ Blizzards only better. : )
